The Man

Pretaining to my recent post, a friend of mine recently pointed out to me that you can call someone "The Man" in Congress or on Wall Street and have it mean both the positive and negative connotations.
Also, have you ever noticed that if you are talking about someone behind their back, you are actually talking about them in front of their face? Think of it this way, where are you if you are in front of their back? Behind them. If you are behind their face? Behind them. Hence, behind their back and in front of their face are exactly the same.
