A few weeks ago I witnessed the death of sixties progressivism. I was heading to Fuddruckers for lunch, when a small (<100)protest group marched by chanting "One, two, three, four, we don't want your stinking war." 40 years ago, the line was "we don't want your fucking war". The righteous fury that once took a stand to prevent needless death now has all the fervor of an armless anglican executive transvestite. Or, in the words of Lewis Black's new special "the word 'shit' makes them cry".
The testicalectomy of american liberalism is not just at the party level; that is only a stmptom of this new brand of family friendly faux progressivism.

P.S. Despite being written in ten minutes at 1:30 AM, this post is much better than Matty "top of the line" Mainen's one in the moonie paper.

(Dunno if it's actually him. It seems amateurish enough, but how did he get it into a paper)
