Well, Just Got Back
I just got back from Chicago, and am currently healing my wounds of broadband deprivation that I've picked up over the last few days. No, the hotel did have broadband, but my ethernet jack is broken on my laptop...so...I've been connecting through my cell phone to load web pages at a blazingly slow 9.6 Kbps...ugh! It's really roughing it man, if you get the opportunity to try it sometime, don't.

Broad shoulders, desperate immigrant meatpackers, and more fat people that you can shake a kielbassa at . . . Why not is really the question.

Yeah, my dad's from Chicago. Grew up in a Czech neighborhood, you know, since he's Czech. Didn't work in the meatpacking business, but his father owned a cookie company for a couple decades. Just imagine it, the Doubek Cookie Company. They made some damn good cookies too, I bet. Immigrants always go into the food business...although that's not true at all, it's true for my blood. Blood of Czechs, don't mess.
Apparently my great grandfather was thrown out of an American bar and became the first bounced Czech. Either that or my father says awful jokes. He likes whiskey.
Seriously, blow up Spring Valley,
