The Man

Pretaining to my recent post, a friend of mine recently pointed out to me that you can call someone "The Man" in Congress or on Wall Street and have it mean both the positive and negative connotations.
Also, have you ever noticed that if you are talking about someone behind their back, you are actually talking about them in front of their face? Think of it this way, where are you if you are in front of their back? Behind them. If you are behind their face? Behind them. Hence, behind their back and in front of their face are exactly the same.

MultiTasking

I was trying to multitask today and do my math and English homework at the same time, and it all came out as Menglish! I threw in French, and it all came out as Frenglath!

The Man

Has anyone ever noticed that the phrase "The man" can go either way? It can either be good, i.e. You the man! or negative, i.e. Workin' for the man!
Can you ever say that your boss is the man? and is that a good thing?
